Dr. Nicola Bitetto retired from the practice on July 31, 2009. Dr. Bitetto joined Berks Cardiologists, Ltd. in 1972. Prior to that he was instrumental in the creation of the Cardiology Dept. at St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading, PA.

His sub-specialties were:

  · Nuclear Cardiology

  · Pediatric and Stress Echocardiography

Dr. Bitetto was raised in New York City where he received his undergraduate degree from City College of New York and his medical degree from New York Medical College. His postgraduate training included his Internal Medicine Residence at Brookdale Hospital Center, Brooklyn, NY, and Cardiology Fellowship at Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY.
