Waxler
was raised in Waycross,
GA and Ardmore, PA. He earned his undergraduate degree
with honors in biochemistry at Trinity
College, Hartford, CT. He later received his
medical degree at University of
Pennsylvania School of Medicine,
Philadelphia, PA. His postgraduate
training was at University of Pittsburgh
Medical Center,
Pittsburgh, PA
as a Medical Intern/Resident and at Penn
State – Hershey Medical Center,
Hershey, PA
as a Cardiology Fellow.

cardiology is that, as opposed to
many other medical specialties, the
vast majority of cardiology
conditions are correctable, and the
vast majority of patients are able
to get significant improvement from
our treatment.
I was inspired to become a
cardiologist by my late father who
was a cardiologist; I am following
in his footsteps."
