Susan L. Hite, Nurse Clinician, joined
Berks Cardiologists, Ltd. in
2003.
She holds a Master of Science in Nursing
and is a Certified Registered Nurse
Practitioner.
She was raised in Altoona, PA, and
received her Bachelor of Science in
Health Planning and Administration from
Pennsylvania State University,
University Park, PA, and worked as a
field coordinator for the Department of
Health in Emergency Services. She
returned to Penn State from where she
received her Bachelor of Science in
Nursing.
She enrolled in the Master of Science in
Nursing Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
program at the University of Pittsburgh,
Pittsburgh, PA. After relocating to
Reading, she transferred to DeSales
University, Center Valley, PA, from
where she received her Master of
Science in Nursing.
She is nationally certified as a Family
Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania, and has prescribing
authority.
She has Allied Health privileges at St.
Joseph Medical Center and The Reading
Hospital and Medical Center.
