Berks Cardiologists, Ltd., ("BCL"), has been the community leader in cardiovascular diagnostic testing for over a decade.  In 1993, BCL brought the first SPECT nuclear camera to Berks County. BCL was also the first practice in the county to have a dual head SPECT camera that decreases the amount of time patients spend being imaged.  BCL's own Imaging Center, accredited by ICANL in 2005, is the first Nuclear Cardiology Lab accredited by ICANL in Berks County. • Pharmacological stress (persantine and dobutamine)

Pharmacologic Stress Test

• Same as above
• Indicated for patients who are unable to walk on treadmill such as lower extremities limitations and COPD.

Echocardiography/Doppler with Color Flow
2-D (Real Time)/M-Mode

• Detection of coronary disease
• Detection of regional wall motion abnormalities
• Assessment of left ventricular function
• Evaluation of valvular heart disease
• Detection of intracardiac tumors and thrombus
• Diagnosis of IHSS and other hypertrophic cardiomyopathies
